Happy New Year!
Thank you again for an amazing 2024 as we welcome in the new year full of excitement and amazing things ahead!
We always start off the New Year by thanking you, the parents and students who make us who we are. We are committed to bettering the community and teaching core values to our youth in hopes of developing a stronger community. Winning Circle would not have existed since 1991 if it wasn’t for the support we get from our community. We humbly thank you and look forward to continue to serve the Kanata community for many years to come.
Secondly, just as we mentioned last year, Winning Circle is still planning on moving to a more permanent location alongside Peak Centre in 2025. The details are still being worked out but it will be less than 5 mins away from our current location. At this new location, Winning Circle have its own private space with fully matted floors and will be able to offer more programs such as Adult and youth Kickboxing classes, day programs, and much more!
We look forward for what’s to come and will be updating you in the upcoming months.
In the meantime, here are a few upcoming dates/policies that are important to keep in mind:
Black Belt Testing
- We are excited to offer some of our students the opportunity to test for their Black belts this year.
- Black Belt testing is held once a year and involves a full 8 hour testing process
- Please wish our 1st Degree Black belts and Black stripes the best of luck as they spend the next few months prepping for this huge feat.
March Break Camp 2025 Registration – NOW OPEN
- March 10 – 14th ; 9am – 4pm
- Active members – $220+tax/week
- Non-members – $250+tax/week
- Family discounts – 10% each additional child
Covid/Flu Policy
- As winter approaches so do the germs! Please remember to stay home if you test positive for Covid or have severe flu symptoms
- Students must stay home for 5 days if they test negative for COVID
- Students who are recovering from COVID must wear a mask during class for 2 week
Membership holds/cancellations
- Reminder that all memberships need a minimum of 30 days written notice to stop payments
- Members who take a break or cancel are not guaranteed a spot upon return
Winter Policy
- Parents must call or email during winter storms for class cancelations
- Classes will be cancelled for severe storms
